Possible SN in M 51

I was alerted by José Ribeiro who got the news from the Aude-L group.
Stephane Lamotte was the one to capture the possible discovery image and give the alarm.

I was already on my target for the night, WASP-3, and I stopped for half an hour to capture 5 images of 5 min exposure through photometric Ic filter. The session was done remotely with my 12"/ST8XME @CROW in Portalegre 200km away

This supernovae candidate is no longer a candidate, it has now received the designation SN 2011 DH,
